Project Engineer, Fox Scoring Stage Renovation. Manifested designs of Dan Wallin, consultant Scoring Mixer, and Peter Grueneisen, A.I.A., Studio bau:ton, while working under Larry Goga, Director of Special Projects. Supervised the complete restoration of Stage 1, including block design of custom consoles and sub-systems, and specifications for all technical assemblies. Assisted in room layout, design and implementation. Oversaw contractors and installers. Specified and directed equipment procurements. General point person for all activities related to this installation. Project budget: Approximately $4.7M, including $1M for a 96 input SSL
9000J-series Scoring Desk. Involved heavily in design of SSL's custom features and Film Scoring Monitor Matrix. Also provided technical support for Fox' main dubbing facility, The Zanuck Theater.

Produced multimedia soundtracks for CD-ROM titles, provided complete sound design and post-production for company industrial videos.

Also operated for 7 months as the sole engineer maintaining the Skywalker Bundy facility, including a Feature Film dubbing theater, ADR/Foley stage, 35MM quality control screening room, several sync sound transfer suites, and related facilities. Provided technical assistance for the numerous commerical releases.

Responsible for electronic design, maintenance, installation, and supervision of product quality control for one of the premiere Hollywood orchestral scoring stages. Supervised refurbishment of control room to the specifications of Dan Wallin, Scoring Mixer. Duties included overhaul and installation of a Neve 8128/56 NECAM 96 automated custom music scoring console, tuning of Dan Wallin's custom L-C-R monitor array, and installation, maintenance, repair of Studer A820MCH, A810, Ampex ATR-102, ATR-104, MM-1200, Adams-Smith 2600, Lynx, Magna-Tech Film Dubbing Chain, etc. Additional duties included computer aided design and documentation using IBM and MacIntosh PCs. I have also provided technical and engineering assistance to Dan Wallin during the scoring of hundreds of productions.

Project Manager and Systems Designer for rebuild of Studio C Film Dubbing Room, construction of Studio D Automated Video Sweetening Room, rehab of multi-track V.O./Radio/TV production rooms A and B, and 3 sync sound mag/tape transfer suites. Directed maintenance staff, set operational and technical standards, maintenance schedules, and supervised quality control. Involved in capital equipment purchases, final decisions.

Post production audio track assembly using The Boss Audio Edit Controller, mixdown via MasterMix equipped Soundcraft TS-24. (Designed and installed complete system.)
