My name is John Rotondi. I began my career in high school, with a great interest in musical pursuits- as a bass player and vocalist- combined with a love of electronics and technology as a young ham radio operator.
Since 1977, I have been working as a staff Sound Engineer at some of this country's top Audio Recording and Post-Production facilities. More importantly, I have been most fortunate to have worked with, and learned my craft from, some of the finest recording engineers and sound technicians of our time. My strengths to effectively enhance your project lie in these two areas:
1) AS A PROBLEM SOLVER: I don't have all the answers, but I do ask all the questions! If I can't find the answers myself, I have the Resources and Contacts to obtain the answers. The key is in ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS!
2) AS A CATALYST: I enjoy working with other professionals. I motivate the other members of a project to work to their highest potentials by ALLOWING THEM TO DO WHAT THEY DO BEST. I don't work in a vacuum- I seek the input of others. This allows me to find the best solutions, and gives others an opportunity to contribute to the project's positive outcome. I give guidance or offer alternatives to other team members in a pro-active and positive manner. I'm never out to prove anything to anyone- my motivation is to manifest the outcome in a positive and constructive manner. I find that others respond to this by having the freedom to express themselves more creatively. This team effort enhances the end result.
